The concept of a monthly news magazine focused on the people, places, events, news, and issues of Bryan/College Station come to fruition in October 2007 when abouTown Press was first published. The idea was to truly be "everyone's local news magazine". To that end, abouTown Press continues to be mailed directly to the vast majority of homes and businesses in the area. In fact, abouTown has by far the largest distribution of any local publication.
