My brother and I wanted a Wii this Christmas. This is how we got one. My Dad and the rest of my family went to lots of stores but they couldn’t ever find one. But one day my aunt and uncle went to a store and the tickets to buy the Wiis were gone. But there was a man there that had gotten a ticket and he asked my aunt and uncle why they wanted a Wii. They said they wanted it for their niece and nephew. He said his wife got one somewhere else and he gave them his ticket. They bought the Wii and gave it to us for Christmas. We were so surprised!

The Wii is very fun. It comes with a game called Wii Sports. On Wii sports you use your Mii to play. A Mii is a Wii version of you. You make it as close as you can to you. You can pick hairdos, glasses, even eyebrows.

Wii Sports has games like tennis, baseball, golf, boxing, bowling, and training. The controllers are very cool because all you do is move the controller like a tennis racket or like you are bowling or boxing. The numchuck is used for boxing. My brother likes boxing because he says all you do is “hit them until they are dead.”

On Wii Sports, to get to training, you click on the weight and it will take you to a page that has each sport and you click on the sport you want and try to unlock the next training levels. On the second level of the bowling one, you start with 10 pins, and go up to 98 pins. You try to see how many you can knock down.

There are other games, too. A lot of my friends say that Super Mario Galaxy is really fun. If you have a Wii, you should try playing it.

Wii Play is another game. It comes with another controller. In cow racing, you get these little scarecrow guys and ride on cows. You try to jump things and stay on the road. Wii Play has fishing, shooting targets, ping pong, pool, air hockey, Wii pose, and find the Wii.

One of my brother’s favorites is Lego Star Wars, The Complete Saga. It has all six movies. You use your controller like a light saber. It comes with a code that you have to put in to unlock characters.

It is more fun with a lot of people, you should consider getting more than one controller. Only one controller comes with the game. It is good to have a charger because you will play it so much you will have to charge the controllers a lot.
Since it is so active, your parents will want you to play video games. Your arms hurt really bad after boxing.

Everyone can play Wii, even grandmas and grandpas. Over Christmas vacation, most of my family tried the Wii. It is very exciting! I hope you get a Wii!
